Mylene brings considerable expertise to the Grayson Clements team, focusing on the areas of Māori law and relationship property. 

Prior to joining the firm, she spent ten years in the tertiary education sector in a variety of roles at the University of Waikato, including as Māori Liaison for Te Piringa Faculty of Law, Research Centre Manager for the Centre of Environmental, Resources and Energy Law/Māori Indigenous Governance Centre and as a Law Academic and Lecturer. 

During her time at the University, Mylene was involved in multiple successful research contracts, looking at the wellbeing and sustainability of oceans, and the important role of governance for Māori organisations. 

Honesty and truth aligned with integrity are attributes she has embedded into her professional work ethic. When approaching work with clients, she always treats each with respect, works to understand their needs and to empower them to achieve their aspirations.
