Philip advises individuals and families, the innovative minds behind the idea. His expertise includes technology (blockchain, encryption, AI) and corporate entities.

His work primarily involves exploring client objectives and capturing these in succinct, plain language legal documents. Philip is passionate about developments in emerging technologies (NFTs, cryptocurrency, algorithmic decision making), their intersection with the law and assisting clients to commercialise them.

Philip’s clients benefit from his client-centric approach and his academic background, combining pragmatic advice with best legal practice in language they understand.

After taking time out to forge a successful career in retail following graduation with two BAs and a BA(Hons) at Victoria University of Wellington, Philip returned to university in 2016 to study law. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in late 2018, he has been practising as a solicitor ever since.
