Yashanshi is in the final year of her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree, with a minor in Human Resource Management, at the University of Waikato.

Alongside her studies, Yashanshi volunteered at Community Law Waikato for two years, and contributing to a Paid Parental Leave submission to the ERA. She was also the top student in her Legal Method B paper, which focused on written and oral advocacy, with a passion for civil litigation.

Outside of work, Yashanshi is a self-confessed bookworm, drawn to psychological thrillers, horror, and the occasional self-help gem. She balances her love of spooky stories with yoga, podcasts, and a good laugh. Fluent in four languages (and working on a fifth—bonjour!), she brings a healthy dose of humour to everything she does.
